FÜR ENGLISCHSPRECHENDE: Deep sea salvage of a steamship
Recovering of a 130 years old steam ship.
In the heard of Europa lays in 210m water depth the swiss paddle steam ship Saentis. The inland lake means there are no suitable crane vessel available.
Up-to the challenge is current owner the “Ship Salvage Association” which started a crowdfunding campaign. The goal is to recovery the ship, conserve it and present it to the public as a monument onshore.
